Baker’s (Popliteal) Cyst
It is likely the back of the knee pain you are suffering from is due to a Baker's cyst.
A Baker's, or popliteal cyst is a swelling caused by fluid in the knee joint protruding into the tissues behind the knee, and becoming trapped there.

Although a lump in the back of the knee is most likely a popliteal cyst, it may be another type of swelling such as a benign tumour or an aneurysm (swelling in an artery).
