Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Running Injury Oracle give me a complete diagnosis?
No. The Running Injury Oracle looks at what the most likely cause of your problem could be. It does not diagnose your problem. Once you have an idea of what you are suffering from, it is important to get this confirmed by your sports physician, therapist or osteopath before you start to follow our rehabilitation advice.
Will the Running Injury Oracle be all that i need to get better?
The wealth of specific information given to you in this site may well be all you need to get completely better and back to running. Howewver, if you are not starting to improve in a week or two, we recommend you visit your sports physician, therapist, or osteopath to see if there is more to do.
How do i know the advice will be safe?
The advice given is a distillation of well known, well researched, information, plus information based on my years of experience as a qualified, registered, sports specific osteopath. Some of the advice I have developed myself in my clinical practice, so you won’t get it anywhere else.
Also, we emphasise that you must have your sports therapist, physician or osteopath confirm the likely condition you are suffering from before using the information in the Running Injury Oracle.
